Summer Fun with Kiwi Crate

June 10, 2014 By Kelle

This post is sponsored by Kiwi Crate.

We are four “school days” into summer now, and I’m realizing I need to pace myself a little here. The gun went off, the race started and I gave it all I had last week. All Yes Days. I can’t help it, I kind of feel like a kid myself. Or an overenthusiastic puppy. Panting, jumping, chasing my tail, looking for someone to play with. Hey kids, want to go in the sprinkler? Hey kids, want to go to the beach? Who wants to have a water balloon fight? Who wants to have a lemonade stand? Let’s go! Let’s see! Let’s do!

I’ve got to simmer down; there’s a long race ahead.

So I’m working on spacing big fun with little fun; “out” days with “in” days.

What appropriate timing for today’s sponsor and summer godsend—the Kiwi Crate.

Kiwi Crate delivers fun hands-on experiences to your door each month. In one little box, you’ll find all the materials and inspiration you need for 2-3 activities for your kids—art, science, games, imaginative play and more.

Their summer adventure crates are appropriately themed—“Camping Trip” for June (order before 6/17 to receive the camp themed box) and “Beach” for July.

Grandparents, aunts and uncles looking for gift ideas? Kiwi Crate subscriptions are a fantastic gift for kids ages 3-8. Not only is it a gift that keeps on giving, but it provides learning experiences and opportunities to spend time together.

Our May box was fun for both Lainey and Nella—and Dash too since he had to be distracted away from our table about 26 times.

In one little box, we found everything we needed to build a real garden with radishes and grass seed as well as an observation chart to track their growing progress.

We also found all the materials to create these barnyard finger puppets, Nella’s favorite.

For all the times I’ve headed to the craft store to pick up random things I’m missing for a project and for all the little fees I’ve acquired running to get more felt, more googly eyes, more glitter, it’s so nice to have everything you need and only everything you need in one box to perfectly execute fun creations with your kids.

More on their summer adventure series in action:

Kiwi Crate offers several different subscription packages beginning at $16.95 a month. All subscription packages can be canceled at any time. Kiwi Crate is also offering an exclusive promo code for our readers: Use Code KELLE25 for 25% off your first month crate(excludes sibling add-on).

Thanks to Kiwi Crate for sponsoring this post.  And, as always, thank you readers for supporting the sponsors that partner with our family to support this blog.

My daughter just got a Kiwi Crate subscription for her birthday! She loves it. I have to hide the green box until we are ready to open it. Otherwise she will get into before I can get the chance to read what we are suppose to do 🙂 Is this the June box that is coming out for the subscriptions or was this a special order box?

The grandparents have been asking what to get for my daughter who will be five this month. The timing of this post is absolute perfection! 🙂

We have been proud Kiwi Crate subscribers for a year and a half. Every month, the projects are perfect. My daughter can now read the instructions and manage more of the projects on her own (just turned six), but I liked it better when she needed my help more. 🙂
