Cartwheelin’ for Cartwheel

January 27, 2014 By Kelle

We’re teaming up again with the folks at Target to help promote Cartwheel, Target’s shopping app and something our family uses to save money.  This post is sponsored by Target.

I’m excited to continue our partnership with Target this year.  We know that there have been some issues in the news with Target lately, but everything I have seen and experienced as a Target customer has indicated that everything has been handled extremely professionally and with remarkable dedication to service recovery and customer satisfaction.  We still love Target, we still shop there, and there are plenty of red shopping carts and cafe’ slushies in our future.

Yesterday I just received my “Benjamin” badge for officially saving over $100 with the Cartwheel app since using it.  If you’re a Target shopper and Cartwheel doesn’t ring a bell, check out your app store and download it for free to begin saving money on things you’re already buying.  And if you’re clicking around the collections in Cartwheel, take a look at that little button with the sidewalk chalk.  I’ve picked out some favorite deals and things we love at Target to share with you in “Kelle Hampton’s Picks” collection.

New to Cartwheel and want a little app tour?  It’s as easy as this:

Deals on several of our Target favorites can be found in the “Kelle’s Picks” collection, and new savings will continue to pop up. This week, you’ll find 25% off all styles of Threshold Bedding & Bath, savings we applied to new sheets and a pretty white ruched pillow for a quick and easy bedroom makeover.

I love the simple black and white sketch pattern.

There’s also a 25% off deal on all toddler, baby and children’s Cherokee apparel in the collection right now.  I’m putting an appeal in to Cherokee to make each of these outfits in my size.

My favorite thing about Cartwheel?  No coupon clipping, no organizing and sorting deals–they’re all in one place and the app is so easy (and fun!) to use.  Perfect for multi-tasking mamas.

New deals are continually swapped out, so keep an eye on expiration dates and new additions to the collection.

Thank you Target and Cartwheel for partnering with us, and thank you readers for supporting the sponsors that help support this blog and our family.

I LOVE Cartwheel. Please tell me that this is a relatively new thing. My sister introduced me to it last week. I feel like I have been missing out on this secret app! 🙂 I love the bedding and outfits.

I love Cartwheel too; especially when I scan the item I’m already planning to purchase and find a sweet deal like 5-20%! I would have been paying full price if I hadn’t scanned. Every little bit helps!

i love the cartwheel app, here’s my 2 cents when you talk to your Target peeps (and you let em’ know i’m a Minnesotan who shopped at DAYTONS with her gramma so gimmie some free candy) please train the guest services people ASK if guests will be using theCartwheel app for coupons. most of the time i am punching away on my phone to get the barcode up while wrangling the kids and it looks like i am just texting my life away and the receipt goes through before i can use it! All that diligent OCD time in bed the night before picking out my coupons GONE.

I will definitely have to download this app! I’m sure it will be great to save a little more at my favorite store. (: Those sheets are so pretty!

I’m wondering if you can use the Cartwheel app for online ordering with Target or does the discount only work in the store?

Um, I love that your icon is sidewalk chalk! So appropriate! I haven’t lucked out on finding a Cartwheel deal for the things I’m shopping for yet, but I haven’t checked it out before I actually shop, so maybe I should try that : )- Thanks for sharing, love the new bedding! It’s amazing how much bedding can brighten up a room.

Cartwheel app is the best, best, best!! Also, savings can be stacked so for example if [you] print off the current $10 off $50 bedding and bath coupon on Target.com you can use that and ALSO the 25% off Threshold for even MORE savings!!
I also like to click on *Collections*, then “Weekly AD” box you can see everything that is on sale for the week that ALSO has a cartwheel. AND i can’t forget that the barcode scanner is fabulous! If you have something in your cart and want to know if there’s a cartwheel deal, just click the barcode to the right of “search”, scan the barcode and maybe save more moola!

Is there a way to use this app. For online Target shopping or is it store only? Can not wait to find out!

I recently downloaded this app after my sister in law was telling me about it. I have yet to use it but am planning a Target shopping trip for later today. Thanks for reminding me! Hopefully I can find some good deals :).

The best thing about cartwheel I just discovered. There is an option on the search to scan the item you chose at the store and it searches to see if any of the current offers match that item. YOu can at that point, in the store, add that offer to your cartwheel if it isn’t already selected. Makes everything easier!! Otherwise, I always feel like I am forgetting to choose something.
