about died and went to heaven…

August 8, 2009 By Kelle

…when i opened the mailbox today and found this heavenly dress.

posting right on top of another here, but i promised my mama i’d get these up.

i couldn’t have dreamed up a more perfect dress for my pixie.
i wanted heirloom/vintage/peasant….and she gave me exactly that. designed it herself.
…and i actually cried when i slipped it on her willowy frame.

i don’t sew, but i’m so glad my mama does.

oh, she knew she was an angel. wanted a bracelet. and some lipgloss.

there are two more dresses on their way…and it feels like christmas.

mama, i’m so glad you sew. i love you.

i love a good dress for a little girl. ~k

Holy Little Women! Beautiful. Exquisite. Makes me want to churn butter or light a kerosene lantern and walk the prarie. And she looks like the grabs the script and runs with it. Your mom is quite the artist with thread and fabric, pie dough and cherries, piano keys and music–Bravo!

Having a mom that sews…and sews again and again…is a blessing. My mom was a seamstress too. I still have memories of the the purple and white striped searsucker jacket that was the envy of all of my friends.
