and then there are those days…

September 15, 2008 By Kelle

…when the ingredients just come together in the recipe for perfection. today was one of ’em.

i needed today. i needed my ‘cup’ filled with family and love and laughter and just being. it’s not that it was empty…it just wanted a free refill.

our little place…our sunday place. it welcomed us back with open arms after a (too) long hiatus.

and i took it all in…the high tide that made our chairs smoosh into the wet sand like sinking ships. the wood floor cubby drags her blanket around on, weaving in and out of tables making people smile. the dogs that dig holes in the cold sand and then lie in them to cool themselves off from the hot sun.

i forget how happy that place makes us.

thank you charlotte for going to our ‘beach church’ with us today. you rock.

my cup is full…with reserves to spare.

…enjoying the sun-kissed things. ~k

ok the pic in the sunglasses – brilliant, as Carin would say – “The Bomb”.

Nothing better than showing off your pedi at the beach! Everytime you post Isle of Capri sundays I wish I lived in Florida.

By the way, So happy that you get to come up to MI to spend family time around christmas! I will pray for snow that weekend so you can have a snowy outside photoshooot with the cubbins.
