…and then there are some days…

June 2, 2008 By Kelle

…where she just makes me stop whatever I’m doing and drink her in…her long lashes…her wispy blond hair…her pouty lips…her milky skin. And I realize…this moment right here will fade. Five, ten, twenty years from now, I will ache to have it back, to touch this baby again, to see this face. And so I close my eyes and hold her close just for a little longer…for my future self would want me to.

because she is my soul

because she's my little

…thankful today for my camera and lenses…without them, I wouldn’t be able to capture her in her essence…my photos are my most cherished keepsakes so that years from now, when my heart is aching for her littleness, I can remember just what it was like.

You are my sunshine, Cubby.

The soft play of light and the gentle contours of a fresh cherubic face make these photographs exquisite works of art…framed and forged through a loving mother’s eyes. Beautiful…and she is mine!

Those pictures are so precious!!! Your words so true…You are so right, your future self would want you to do just what you are doing. You can look forward knowing full well , that you drank in and felt her ‘littleness’ as much as you could. She is so lucky to have you.

Again, thanks Kelle for pictures that take me back to those delicious faces of chloe and evalee…chubby cheeks, tooth-gapped grins, and heavenly smells. These are gorgeous.
