Something is happening. At first, it was subtle–easy to ignore or feign obliviousness. But, now it’s real, and I am reminded of it with each new feat she accomplishes, each new expression she acquires. Yes, something is happening. She is slowly but surely emerging from the baby cacoon, freeing more and more of her widdle baby body, ready to spread her wings into the great world of Toddlerhood. Awww….she not gunna be my widdle babypillar no mores. I sad.

So, I really love this next pic ‘cuz she’s lookin’ at me like “I love her.”
We let her have a crawl-a-rama across our driveway. She was having too much fun to stop her, but she was FILTHY when it was all said and done. The bottoms of her hands, the knees of her pants–absolutely black. She was so happy though! Look at her…nothing could stop her! Hair in the wind and hands smack-smackin’ on the pavement! Go Baby, Go!
Someday I’m gunna miss the way her little diapey sticks out the back of her pants!
Whoa! Somebody gots dirties!

I know all about feigning obliviousness…sometimes ignorance is bliss…but the changes you get to witness when you invite them in are miraculous!!!
Ive seen the transition and it’s a beautiful thing to watch!! she is beautiful inside and out!! love her!!! xoxo
Aww her little crocs are so cute! i love the shot of her with the tennis ball, she is so ready to start walkin!
feelin’ ya on the baby-toddler transition. so fun to watch but hard to let go.
If you think this baby phase has been sweet and full of fun…you just WAIT.
The twos and threes are precious beyond description. It’s like opening a present every day.
When you start having actual conversations with her, you will never want to turn back!!!
Love you and the Mommy you are…jc
you need to print that picture of her looking at you like that!
ditto what jen said…it only gets BETTER from here! you ain’t seen nothing yet!
