…and to my Sister

April 2, 2008 By Kelle

I’m lucky to have the two most wonderful siblings in the world…my ridiculously talented and artistic brother and my creative, inspiring mother-of-the-year sister. Today’s my sister’s birthday, and before I “Ode to…” my sister, I wanted to say I love you equally as much, Bubby!

With that said….
Happy Birthday, Carin!!!

You are my best friend, my creative inspiration, my mother-I-want-to-be. When my creative juices are hyper-stimulated, you keep me from picking up a paintbrush, ruining something I love, and regretting it later. You pep talk me through my laundry piles. You don’t just tell me what I want to hear, but push me to be something better.

You love my baby like your own.

You constantly amaze me with how you never accept less-than-superior in your life and you do what it takes to be the best wife, the best mom, and the best friend someone can ever have. You create memories for your girls, you love them, you sacrifice in every way to be there for them, but you never lose yourself in the process. You make me want to read more. You choose family over everything else in life. You are beautiful inside in out. Happy Birthday!

WOW! Tears in my eyes…MAJOR goosebumps! I love how close you & Carin are. I love the way your WHOLE family is SO CLOSE! My Grandpa Jack once said, “Kiddo, without family you have nothing!” TRUE INDEED! I know how much you value, appreciate, and LOVE one another. That is a BEAUTIFUL thing!

    Hey Kelle,
Absolutely love the pics of you and Carin! You two haven’t changed a bit! Still gorgeous! I love the last pic of Carin. She looks like a model.
I also watched the “Lainey’s Birth Story” video and that was awesome! I loved all the photos! You and Carin have a great talent with the camera! Keep in touch
