Self Portrait Challenge: [Politics, Week 2]

March 12, 2008 By Kelle

When it comes to Politics, it’s a bit of a blur for me on a lot of issues…except one. One thing remains clear–her.I care a lot more since her than I did before. Her future. Her education. Her opportunities. Her world.

I couldn’t agree more! Having children changes everything. And I just realized this week that Chloe will be voting at the next presidential election!

Ryan is 18…so he’ll share his vote this year. I’m not usually a one issue voter, but whatever is best for our kids seems like a good enough issue to hold dear.

Love it! I like the blurring around the edges with her the center focus. Oh wait, that’s just how she takes pictures. She IS the focus and all else fades. I also love seeing her pudgy hands in fists, love me some baby pudge!

I can’t believe how the little stuff doesn’t matter anymore since becoming pregnant! I can’t imagine how that will only intensify after she is here!!!!

Congratulations!!! Lainey made the SPC winner’s circle….and she looks so proud about it. She leads in my polls and she could reach across the ailes in Congress and the Senate and bring everyone together!!! Love it!

I wish more people thought about our children’s future, rather than their immediate wants & needs – then things would indeed be much clearer. Beautiful post, Kelle.
