My Baby

December 9, 2007 By Kelle

I watched you play today….and I can’t believe you are mine. Everything about you amazes me–each pudgy finger, the curl of your perfect lips, the mess of lashes that bless your beautiful eyes…Baby, you are mine.

If only we could go back to these moments ~ they went so fast, even while holding on to them as tightly as we could!! My oldest “baby” turns ten years old in a couple of weeks- where did the time go??

I just discovered your blog, read and enjoyed many entries, love your photos, your music, your positive, life-loving attitude, your relationship with your girls (which seems so hands-on and present and beautiful), your thoughts weaved so carefully, eloquently and seemingly effortlessly with your pictures, your endless stream of creativity…what a wonderful blog to stumble upon!

I wanted to go back to the beginning to see where you started out, so here I am. 🙂

I, too, am a former teacher, and am currently homeschooling the three loves of my life- my youngest blessed with Down syndrome as well.

Thanks for creating this blog and sharing so much of you!!
