Favorite Holiday Kid Picks
1) Plush Campfire Set from Land of Nod. (We frequently get asked about our Etsy campfire, but the shop doesn’t make it anymore. Land of Nod debuted this beautiful one this holiday–love that birch log!)
2) Hand carved magnetic fishing set from Wooden Moose Creations. We bought this set and stained it ourselves for Nella for Christmas(natural wood set is priced a little lower). Well, Santa did. I’m so excited for her to open it.
3) Obsessed with these finger puppet stocking stuffers from Folkmanis. I want them all.
4) Turn your favorite photos into a personalized memory game: Pinhole Press.

Love these ideas for Christmas, ideas are always appreciated! I also love using small businesses. Love Nella’s facial expression. She is just so cute. Kelly I am wondering if you read one of my comments where I posted the Little Boy named Archie who was adopted and has DS. Been thinking about trying to make one of the campfire sets myself. I’ve been thinking my little boy (Nella’s age) would love it.
Also have you seen the cute hand and finger puppets on Ikea’s website? They make me think of you. They even have a unicorn!

I couldn’t leave a comment on the Target post – but could you put in a good word for us down here in the US Virgin Islands? They won’t ship to us and we’re DYING to get a Target here on island! We just welcomed Walgreens and the whole damn island threw a parade for them! A parade for Walgreens! Imagine the carnival of events if Target came!
Just a side note: You might add that the campfire set from land if nod doesn’t expect to ship until mid January

I am planning to buy one of my nephews the campfire this year since I’ve loved seeing how happy it makes your kids. So innovative and unique! We are also getting him a teepee. It’s going to be so fun! Thank you for sharing these great ideas, Kelle 🙂

I love these ideas Kelle! I just have one question, to what extent do your kids believe in Santa? I do not have any kids of my own yet, but my sister does and they do not believe in Santa. They do, however, often play in imaginary worlds that is encouraged by my sister and me. We just want the kids to know when something is imaginary and when it is real. What is your take on Santa?
