“Half” Sister?

June 8, 2008 By Kelle

…try telling that to two brothers who love her a “whole” bunch. There’s no half about it. We are a blended family, but that just means there’s more love blended in the mix.

From one blended family to another, I loved this post! We’ve never used the words step-brother of half brother because it just doesn’t feel like it matters. No labels to explain the situation, we’re just family! Your boys are so handsome and I love the way they are so tender with their baby sister!

This post warms my heart because I love those boys like my own…how blessed Lainey is to have two “bubbies” to love her and protect her…they are such fine boys, kind, compassionate, polite…but still full of life and “boydom.” They are cool! I melt when they say Poppa!

SOOOOOO true! I, too, am a product of a blended family! I SEE & hear how much the boys of their ‘lil sister and how she ABSOLUTELY adores her two big brothers! It’s a BEAUTIFUL thing!

Funny we all did a new header this weekend! Those boys have such kind eyes. Their love for Lainey is so apparent. Part of what makes families great is all the funky combinations and relationships. It would be so boring otherwise. Beautiful.
