“kiss the universe”

July 10, 2008 By Kelle

dig this chick so perfectly put it: “If I could kiss the universe, I would.”

i feel that way today, and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out why. i stepped foot into a magical place…holy ground…a place where dreams come true and the gap between heaven and earth is invisible for just a little while. the labor and delivery ward.

our friends joe & stephanie welcomed their little skye rose into the world today…congratulations, mommy & daddy.

but, long after i step foot out of the hospital and the sweet smell of baby is off my skin, i’m still relishing in the beauty of new life and what it means. and then i’m taken back to 5.18.07 and the miracle and magic that took place in room 10 that day.

…and i look at her now and just feel so blessed.
