we’ll be busy here the next several days, and there will tons to post later…
but for now, here’s a few from our walk with latte yesterday…yes, yesterday as in middle-of-december. sunny skies and beautiful weather. it’s still so strange to me this time of year. someone, please enjoy the snow for me. i miss it.

(i so would have trimmed her hair weeks ago, but we’re gunna see where this not cutting it thing goes this time. two french braids is where i’m headin’. maybe by her fifth birthday?)
merry almost-christmas things!

i’m with you on loving the amazing weather, but have to differ on the missing snow thing! i love that you’re letting her hair grow…you can always cut it, but can’t glue it back if it’s not what you hoped for! what a little lady!!!
Kelle, I am here in the Currier and Ives Christmas card and hibernating in my house. I shovelled the walk today as the temperatures dropped more and more and the winds increased. It was painful–the brain freeze let me die kind of pain. The walks already look like they were never shovelled. Dog walk? Our snowdrifts are yellow–telling you how far our dogs want to walk in the “winter beauty.” Let it go. Jesus wasn’t born in a snowy climate…God was wise. Enjoy. Go for walks. Breathe deep–you are in paradise!
Enjoy the snow thing???? We have started our snowblower every day this week and it is only December! The temps are freezing and we keep getting more and more snow – not sure I can do this for another 3 months. I know the “grass is always greener” but just for the record – enjoy – we won’t see our grass until May!
We are getting a storm tonight! 10-15 cm of snow (not too bad) and “hurricane force” winds. I will post pics tomorrow.
Thanks for visiting my blog the other day! (I’ll post some pics of the kiddie card-making session in a few days).
I miss the snow too, and my family thinks I am NUTS! Your dad’s comments made me remember why I am down here. I DON’T miss having to shovel/snowblow, and I DON’T miss the below zero temps…but the look of snow covered trees, cute jackets, hats, mittens, boots, and scarves, snowmen, snowangels, icicles, hot cocoa, a cozy fireplace, and sledding…I REALLY DO MISS(sigh)!
P.S. – LL’s outfit is divine! LOVE IT!! :o)
P.S. –
Thanks for sharing this little slice of your day. Sometimes the simple posts are just divine.
Right now, bug is on my lap WAVING at Lainey. That’s a first. xo
i love lainey and latte posts. i wonder if sophie gets jealous that lainey seems to love latte most.
Mmmmmmm, those cookies look delish, as does your sunny, non-snowiness! I wish we could trade weather every once in a while! 🙂
