i’ll take ‘sister deliciousness’ for $400, alex

January 12, 2009 By Kelle

so, the deliciousness has begun.
deliciousness as in little girls spilling out of the house and little hands fighting over lainey. deliciousness such as sister photo shoots …

…and making choclate eclair cake.

deliciousness like dinner with friends and watching kids play together…happily.

minus running smack into a bedpost that semi-rendered a concussion. no not that… (but the re-enactment of it without the concussion part was a little bit delicious)

…and there’s so much more deliciousness to come. ‘cuz today was just the appetizer. everyone should be so lucky to have a sister…and this kind of sister. i love her so much and being with her, especially when we’re separated by a huge bundle of states, ignites all these little fuses i forgot i had.

…enjoying the how-funny-is-it-that-we-actually-used-to-scratch-each-others’-eyes-out things. ~k

You cannot know the joy a father feels to see his children love and laugh with each other—have a wonderful, magical, memorable week together…I wish I was there to silently watch…oh yeah, I don’t do the “silently watch” thing do I.

OK, on the stairway photo, I know everyone…except way at the top, the man in the red shirt next to David…tell me it wasn’t just a stranger passing by. What a happy crowd!

I can just see the happiness or deliciousness what ever you want to call it oozing out of these pictures. Kelle you are a great sister too!. This is exactly what your sister needed some time with you and all the friends there. Have a blast…..keep posting……and lots more pictures of coarse.

You girls look beautiful by the way! Wish I was loaded and didn’t just take a 30 day job so I could hop on a plan and join you for a day or two!

I love the pic on the stairway, where Lainey is looking over at you curiously like,
    “Wait a minute…
    MY mommy…
    me NOT on her lap…
    OTHER child in my place…
considering whether this sits well or not…”

    Enjoy your time!

    what fun!
my sister can be a moody little wonder … without a family … yet. so we are at such opposite ends of the spectrum currently.
we still love each other without end.
but … i hope someday we can relish in our connected individualities … as it seems that you are your sister are able to do!

Aww! While I don’t have a ‘real’ sister, I have a cousin that comes as close as possible to sister-status. 🙂

    Enjoy your time together!

And here I come into two new posts. Lucky me. I don’t have a sister but if I did I would hope we laughed as much as you two do. That bed post photo is hilarious.

Tomorrow when you wear a tank top and have bare feet on green grass, if you feel like it, send a little warmth up here…I am cold right now and you all just look so warm in those photos!
