sam & ryan and one sweet little babe

April 2, 2009 By Kelle

one of the greatest blessings moving to florida has given me is my delicious pile of friends.
you fall in love with these people…and just when you think they can’t get any sweeter…
they have babies you fall in love with.
and in our little friend group, we celebrate the coming of a new baby like a big greek wedding. we go to brunch and sip coffee with one hand on the growing belly of the moment. and we all scream and go crazy when the baby kicks. we plan amazing baby showers. we tag along for trips to babies ‘r us where we take turns pointing out our favorite strollers. or baby bjorns. we make bets on boy or girl.
and when that babe is almost done cookin’, we all watch our phones for the call.
and once we get it, we drive like mad to the hospital to welcome the newest member of the clan. and we hold them and smell them and kiss their soft cheeks like they’re part ours. ‘cuz they kinda are. it takes a village, you know.

so, we are counting down to may ‘cuz sam and ryan are next up to bat with their first ‘little’ due in one short month.

and if you think our little ‘gap’ couple is cute…oh, just wait. i have a feelin’.

and sweet, sweet babe had a present for me tonight. a little kick right into my hand…gave me butterflies. thank you, little. oh, the blessed miracle of little unborn life.

…and my very faves… i would so blow these two beauties up and hang them side by side on a lovely stretch of hallway.

sam & ryan…i can’t wait to watch you transform all this pent up love into a role that will rock your little worlds. you will do fabulously…i just know it.

(p.s. favorite moment: when a wave came and ate sam…and ryan ditched.)

oh, the love.

…enjoying the is-it-obvious-i’m-in-love-with-big-pregnant-bellies? things. ~k

I’m reading backwards, going right back to the beginning. I love these photos! The photo of the wave eating Sam was by far my favourite!!

You are an inspiration and thanks to your photos I’m starting the 365 day challenge!
