An Outline

October 4, 2009 By Kelle

last night, i dreamed i was back in college and was skipping a religion class because i wasn’t ready to hand in a severely late outline due weeks before. and somehow my uncle dale was a friend of my professor’s in the dream, and he called my dad and told him i wasn’t doing my work. and my dad called me. and he was mad. i woke up sick to my stomach about it.

so, today i shall turn in my outline. it has nothing to do with religion but everything to do with nothing.

A LOT OF IMPORTANT NOTHINGS

A. Recent Epiphanies

a. in digging through pre-baby photos on an old hard drive yesterday, brett & i made the following conclusion: we miss blonde. on both of us. we’re going to do something about that eventually. as brett so beautifully (and bluntly) put it: dude, we were kinda hot.

and there’s nothing more precious than your husband throwing in a ‘were’ in the same sentence as ‘hot.’

b. i love matilda jane. and my trunk show the other night was a great success earning us some major jane bucks for free clothes.

modeling the sample sizes…

B. Photo Shoots

a. sweet baby adrey who has killer eyes:

b. sorry, prof. i got no b.

C. Sunday Morning Cry(derman)fest

*threw some of my favorite pics of my girl in with this song and…the rest is so history.

D. brown-haired and older and apparently ‘less-hot,’…at brett’s best friend’s surprise b-day party last night, which was completely endearing and lovely and a complete blast:

there. pressure’s off. whew. i turned it in. so get off my back, dad, and quit being such a tattle tale, uncle dale.

Ahhhh….my little ‘Baby Adrey’! Really great shots…but not too hard with a subject like that! Leah and John look pretty great, too!
I didn’t know you guys in your “hot” days, but you don’t look any less-hot to me! I like the brunette, myself!

Vote #5 for brunette! (aka-decadent chocolate lovliness, as I like to refer to my own shade, lol). My guy always says “pretty blondes are a dime a dozen…but a gorgeous brunette always turns heads.” Ok, off my brunette soap box: Matilda Jane now another thing I must keep on my mental “remember-this-when-you-have-a-baby-girl-someday” list. Oh, and Lainey in headbands, and ruffly legged pants—yumm!

Oh you’re hot any which way.

Your dream is hilarious. I am glad you now feel relief for getting that outline in on Sunday morning! Pregnant dreams are so vivid, no?

Hi, I found your blog through “dig” and have been following for a couple of months. Your little girl is a doll. I have come out of hiding to say I think you are much more “hot” with the brunette locks! It fits your bloggin personality and complexion more. Anyways, my input for what it’s worth! 🙂 Love your blog.

I vote for the brunette as well! I love the Matilda Jane clothes and was just curious if you might consider a post (or at least shooting an email) about some of your fav clothing lines for little Lainey Love? She is always dressed so cute and I am always looking for ideas for my Ada Grace!

I love you as a brunette, blonde, red head, etc…You remind me of my sister, the two of you could be bald and be gorgeous. I love this post, and the picture of Leah, John, and Adrey… awesome! I am envisioning my christmas card with this. hint hint!

How about brunette with some nice highlights around that face…yeah, that would do it! And I am honored to know that I can torment you…even in your sleep! Ahhh, the sheer power of parenting, ha! Get your work done, I am watching still! Tell Kevin we said Happy Birthday!!! (yet another party we missed!)

I’m slowly making my way through your blog from the beginning, and just had to chime in here that you both look so much better as brunettes! The blond is flatter and gives you a more “standoffish” look – the brunette is so much more vivid and really shows how full of LIFE you are! Much richer and striking 🙂

BTW, you’ve inspired me to post larger pictures on my blog, and finally figured out why you add colour blocks beside the portrait-oriented photos – Blogger text-wrapping is a tricky thing! The new Blogger in draft allowed me to avoid going the Photobucket route though.

Thank you for so much inspiration!

I’m totally making my way quickly through these archives. So forgive me if you get comments on OLD posts 😀

But the brown hair is TOTALLY hot. I can tell you, as a blonde, that I would LOVE to have your brown hair exactly like that. It looks great, and stands out from the sea of blondes you’ll find in Florida (I’m in Gainesville!)
