We spent the fourth enjoying new traditions with our family after calling T.O.D. last year on our old parade routine which involved sweaty bodies, tired kids, sweaty bodies, loud noises, and–um–sweaty bodies. I’m all for toughing it out for family memories, but the parade thing started turning into pressure to keep a tradition which completely defeats the purpose. Instead, we flew our holiday flag both literally and figuratively. Red,white and blue, baby. And some low-sweat summer loving favorites.
Love me some holiday spirit.
Pictures of our Fourth:
Happy weekend.
God Bless America. And wherever you are.

Beautiful photos Kelle! Looks like you had a wonderful time! π
Love the girls outfits! The are so cute! Happy weekend to you, too!
My girls love to shuck corn, too. I don’t think they realize it’s a job. π Looks like you had a wonderful day with your family!
Um, can I ask where you found that FANTASTIC bathing suit?!? I love the vintage vibe and that cherry red color! π
Little Nella with the sparkler…just precious!
This looks way better than a sweaty parade… beautiful photos as always!

much, much better than a crowded parade. you guys are pretty smart (:
Looks like perfection! Just in the middle of re-reading your book! Boy, you write well! Always inspired, E x
FABULOUS!!! Love those patriotic munchkins! So stinking cute! Gotta do what works for your family, Kelle! My memories of the 4th are being in my pajamas in the backyard with a sparkler in one hand and a Popsicle in the other! All 8 of us kids would be running around like crazy animals – it was sooooooo fun! And the memory puts a smile on my face – every time I think about it! Your girls will remember the special times – no matter how you celebrate them, as long as they are fun and you’re together! God Bless America! XO
I love looking at everyone’s red, white, and blue. Looks like you had a very quite and cool 4th. I’m jealous. Ha. We did the parade and sweaty bodies this year…it’s exhausting.
i love all the red, white & blue. love your nails too!! ( :
I love that you guys decided to stick with some fun low-sweat traditions & your nails are perfect. How fun!
love, love, love!
LOVE the cute pics kelle. And I LOVE that you still rock your wrap bracelet π I’m flattered! Have a great weekend! xo
We made that cake too (lemon) ! It’s one of our traditions.. We did the low key day of bbq, then the sweaty night fireworks, not as bad here in NY though – I don’t think I couldve done it in Fla!
Beautiful photos! Glad to see you had a wonderful holiday with your family.
My poor husband who has been working out of town for the last 6 months is home for the long weekend but has a bad cold. I’m not surprised with all the long hours. Enjoying the time I do have with him.
Glad you had a good Fourth. My granddaughter wore the same dress as Nella. Little girls in cute dresses is the best!
This is something that I continue to learn… tradition is only a tradition worth continuing when we get more out of it than we need to put in.
Nella running with the flag….oh.my.gosh!!!! Made my husband smile real big, too π
What a fantastic 4th of July. LOVE love love love the pics.
Is that a Premier Designs It’s a Wrap bracelet you are wearing? I am a Premier Designs jeweler, and it looks like the one we have in our line.
Kelle….
Independence Day. One of my very favorite holidays!! I always look forward to Independence Day, although my poor Beautifully Unique mutt, Rose, hates it. See, we get bottle rockets {Which I call bombs!!} and she is terrified of them!! Poor baby…. π
But I always dress up in red, white and blue. Every. Single. Year!! I go all eccentric!! I have been doing this since after September 11th, 2001. π
“God Bless America. And wherever you are.”. I like that!! ;-D

LOVE Nella’s dress !
Such beautiful pictures full of red, white and blue. Just gorgeous! Happy Independence Day to you all!
Wonderful photos Kelle! Such beautiful memories. Love the kids’ outfits, so cute! π
I love how Americans are so patriotic. Intelligent Aussies are a bit blasé and seem to think its not sophisticated to be patriotic, its the yobbos (the ones who shout aussie aussie aussie ohy ohy ohy) at football matches who are patriotic but awfully embarrassing!
So I like that Americans aren’t embarrassed to be proud of who they are, I guess Australia is a younger country, we are still only awkward teenagers …I’m raving now, thanks for the lovely pictures.
Low key is the way we like it! Happy forth to you and your family!
lovely lovely lovely!
ps: nicely Rocked milkmaid braids
I love this new tradition and these pictures!! π
How precious are your girls’ outfits? I love looking at your pictures to see what they will wear next. All three of your kids are beautiful blessings. And what a fun fourth you had! Gorgeous pictures. Love!
XOXO

Looks like you all had a very happy 4th!!! But, how the heck do you have time to paint your nails like that with 3 young children?!?! You rock!!!
Loved the pictures and that you guys enjoyed the 4th! I loved all the patriotic matching themes!
Aww, this looks like such a perfect, low-key day with your family. Thanks for sharing these photos with us!
Love the American flag trifle! You all look so relaxed and happy – definitely a good decision.
Beautiful π
Thanks for sharing. And I love the American Flag dessert, I need to get more crafty.
Kelle,
Thank you for sharing your life with us. You spread joy; and that’s incredible.
My best wishes,
Ali in Switzerland
Why did you photoshop the cut on Nella’s forehead (you forgot to on one photo btdubs)? Every kid gets hurt. But, I guess you have to keep the “my life is perfect so envy me bitches” rolling.
Love these photos Kelly. I agree it is memories no matter where you are if you are with Family and have fun while doing it, those are the memories that will last.
When I saw your pictures I felt that your children are so lucky to have you as parents. Consider your self lucky as well to have a little gift from god that most of us don’t have. Love her and take care!
Happy LATE 4th to you!!!…just keep soaring like the Eagle you are!(& forget about the turkeys!)
love you!
Bug & Ruby’s Gram!
Hey Werdna, did you stop to think about WHEN she might have taken the photo…yah, maybe it hadn’t happened yet, thus no photo…have a great day!
I am a dork, and all excited because your Nella and my Evangeline have the same Fourth of July dress. Also: I feel like a stalker for mentioning this.

I adore your sparkler shots, Kelle. I need to learn how to do that. π

Oh so patriotic! Looks like such fun π
Well, Heather, you stupid cunt, as you can see the picture of Nella at night with her head oriented in the same direction as the other picture injury free. Nice try, twat.
I just have one question for you Werdna…who hurt you?! My heart goes out to you for whatever happened in your past. I’m not sure how old you are, but name calling is just sad.
Great pictures!
Awesome pictures of a wonderful day!
Girl, you are glamour personified! Lipstick in the pool. Love it! Love all your photos. x

KidKraft’s products are available in multiple versions, which we indicate by adding a letter at the end of the item number. For instance, if a product’s item number is 65023A, that means it is a version A of item 65023. These different versions are created when one product is made at more than one location, and this helps KidKraft send the correct replacement parts to customers when needed, children’s furniture & toys.
