4 Comfy Quarantine Styles

April 20, 2020 By Kelle

Happy Monday, Friends! Last month when I realized the world would be staying home for a while, I paused my Nuuly clothing subscription service assuming there’d no be no need for the thrill of cute clothes with no place to wear them. And it’s true–there are a lot of things more important than cute clothes right now. But after a couple weeks of being cooped up at home, I realize how much dressing for the day in the morning affects my mood. There is a happy middle with this quarantine wardrobe, an invitation to wear things a little more casual and cozy; but I do still like to inject some style and thought for some put-togetherness that makes me feel good through this and helps set the tone for a bit of productivity. I reinstated my Nuuly subscription, choosing more casual cozy pieces for the month as well as picking up a few new stylish loungewear items I’ll get lots of wear out of beyond the quarantine. Feeling good about what I wear totally makes a difference for me, even if I’m staying home.

1. This Free People Shorts Set is my favorite–light weight and super cozy. I love that it’s shorts rather than pants. This is the perfect cozy cabin outfit for Michigan when it’s safe to travel again.

2. These Utility Overalls from Anthropologie are ridiculously comfortable. I love the rope belt detail. The ribbed white t-shirt is from H&M. I normally wear a small but got a medium because I wanted to wear it styled more loose and off the shoulder.

3. I love overalls, and these Paige Flare Overalls are my current favorites. Their slightly cropped, and I love the v in front for a flattering cut. The striped linen shirt is from Zara. They make a version of this shirt in different patterns every year, and I’ve bought it for the past five years. The Rothys are basically the world’s best Quaratine shoe because they’re basically slippers disguised as a shoe.

4. Finally, the comfiest affordable t-shirt dress from H&M. I wore this as a dress throughout the day last week and then slid into bed with it as pajamas at night. Double duty. And endless possibilities to accessorize it to make it less basic. I also bought these joggers, and they’re perfection–super soft, comfy and fit like a dream.
