ode to autumn

September 22, 2008 By Kelle

autumn, thou doth comest and bringeth with thee…

the replacement of white roses with candy corn and candles on the mantle…

afternoons of delicious pumpkin bread and pretend hot cocoa with quaint wooden marshmallows…

thou fillest my heart with anticipation for chilly (okay…chillier) nights and crackling fires…
autumn, oh autumn, thou art beautiful…

and so is my cubs…

autumn’s kitchen keeps on givin’….tonight, it’s homemade shrimp chowder and corn bread.

…enjoying the seasonal excitement things. ~k

Those eyes, those eyes…and the last photo is the bomb! The fabric like a flowing stream falling on her…I love this post…what a grear investment that little table has been…and soon, Lily will join her for chats and coloring, snacks and solace there.

Look at her……..thats all I can say. I swear her eye color is different all the time. It just must be the way the light hits them at different times. Beautiful.

Love the candy corn! Love to eat it and it looks cool with those candles!
