lotsa love today…
it’s austyn’s birthday and with that comes a large helping of neighborhood boys. consequently, our front lawn looks like a bike shop, our pool level is a foot less than it was this morning, and lainey has been batting her eyelashes non-stop at all the boys all day. she loves the attention…not to mention, austyn’s cake. (aren’t cake-eating photos the bestest?)
*little chameleon showing off her ability to use light powers to change her eyes to blue-green and her hair to strawberry blonde. seriously…every day, she’s a different color. under ‘eye color’ in her baby book, it’s been changed three times.
*tryin’ out our new doctor kit. our teddy bears have lots of band-aids these days.
*and, the girl has found her belly button. shows it to random strangers, too.

Oh my cuteness! The cake looks delicious, I wanted to jump through the screen and eat it up. I cannot believe how Lainey’s eyes and hair looks so different. She definitely looks like AJ’s big sister now. That is crazy how much they look alike. My mom told me that when I found my belly button, I would wear my WonderWoman tank top and underwear and show EVERYONE!! I think it’s so cute, like she is so proud of it. Just another cute part of her gorgeous self. Happy Birthday, Austyn!

so funny! cora has realized the amazement of belly-buttons recently too! she loves to show hers…but considers it a reciprocal action…you must show yours as well! even strangers…she gets rather offended when they don’t pull up their shirts. (and onesies are such a problem right now…no easy access!)
