Friday Faves: Mother’s Day Gifts

April 10, 2015 By Kelle

It’s almost time to honor the favorite women in our lives who nurture and fill us up. With many companies’ personalization and ordering deadlines coming, it’s not too early to think about Mother’s Day gifts. I’ve rounded up some of my favorites from sentimental treasures (make her cry! make her cry!) to inexpensive thought-that-counts gifts that will be sure to make her smile (fake tattoo! fake tattoo!).

Happy Friday!

1. Treasured Passages Mother Daughter Letter Set//Uncommon Goods
All the prompts, letters and envelopes you need to send to your mom, encouraging her to tell the stories you want to preserve for your family. She sends them back and you store them in the pockets of this keepsake book. I love this treasure so much.

2. “Mother” Tattoo//Tattly
For only $5, you and a sibling can show up to Mother’s Day brunch displaying your love for your mom. Give her about two minutes to think it’s real before you tell her it can wipe off.

3. Personalized Rings//Lisa Leonard
With so many different styles of personalized jewelry out there, I love the simplicity of these dainty rings, meant for stacking.

4. Apothecary Bottle Bathing Salts//Leif
Pretty enough to leave out in a bathroom display and definitely something every mom can enjoy–alone time and relaxation.

5. Fingerprint Necklace//Tina Steinberg
I love my Tina Steinberg charms–so unique and such a special way to keep their fingerprints near my heart.

6. Ovenly Baking Book and//Amazon & Anthropologie
For a baking-loving mama, this cookbook is filled with stunning photographs and delicious recipes. Add a beautiful muffin tin and an apron to make it a complete package.

7. Custom Embosser//The Paper Source
Have an embosser custom made with your mama’s name or her favorite phrase, and she can emboss her own stationery, seals for treat bags and envelopes or even the toilet paper in the guest bathroom.

8. State Cutting Board//AHeirloom
Home gifts are the best, and these beautiful bamboo boards are designed and manufactured here in the US–available in all states plus countries.

9. Wood Block & Photo Prints//Artifact Uprising
I’ve loved this simple way to display prints since Artifact Uprising first featured it, and I finally had one made for my mom for Mother’s Day–includes 12 polaroid-style prints that fit in the block groove and can be switched out.
