Somewhere between her morning kisses and reading her “The Wonderful Sounds of Mr. Brown” before bed, I have a million moments where I stop and simply soak up her wonderfulness. Today, she’s a cuddle, just happy to be held…if only she knew the way she hooks her little arm around my shoulder and lays the palm of her hand on my back just melts her mama.

In other news…I bought this at Target today, and it hurts to look at it:
Still a month away, yes. But I’m taking baby steps to accept it. I’m happy for this celebration though because she’s becoming more beautiful and more amazing each day.
P.S. Happy FORTIETH Birthday to My Jennygirl! You make forty beautiful because you are beautiful, confident, and strong. Thank you for being an incredible example of a good wife, an incredible mother, and a lover of life. I want to be the best version of myself when I’m around you! Cheers to YOU! Love you!

I think I have found my favorite picture of her… the bottom one in color. It’s just so stinking adorable, the little sorta smile! It’s gonna kill me from too much sweetness!
True Dat (hee, hee)! These are some of my ALL time favorite pictures of Lainey Love! WHAAAAAAAAAAT!! OMG “x” a HUNDRED TRILLION!:P That head band is TOO precious, Kelle! She is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! She has an AMAZING mommy & we’re all so lucky to have such a friend, in Kelle!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JB!! ENJOY your day!! :o)
isn’t that the truth?? one year old is so hard on a mom and so fulfilling at the very same time! it’s so difficult to imagine that it has been a whole year since my baby was brand new (and i imagine you are feeling the same way…)
i cried when stella turned one. as if the baby-ness would suddenly disappear.
that’s what pictures are for…they help you remember. highly recommend taking a picture of everything…including the way that her arms wraps through yours. i never got a picture of stella when you took her out of the carseat as an infant…she curled her legs just so. and cora…i never got a picture of this crazy mess of hair that she had on the back of her head…i was going to and the next day it had grown out and didn’t flip the way it did before!
OMG we did it again! I got the SAME cherokee shirt for Rennie!! Out of all the different plaid varieties, I chose THAT SAME ONE!!! They twinkies!
LOVE these pictures!! she looks just like you! I love the one of her bent over smiling really big…she looks so insanely happy!
MISS HER!!!!!
Amazing pictures! I LOVE the toothy grin one…I can almost hear her giggling!!!
wow, love to read and watch Lainey grow……….wish I could steel your words…………jf.
