oh baby

June 4, 2009 By Kelle

lots of little souls stealing my heart lately…

like sweet little chase…

who looks so exactly like his mama, it’s not even funny.

and lovely little jack…i have to give my dad credit for the witty announcement.

(front)

(inside)

(back)

and then there’s quiet little jordan who smiled every single time his mama said, ‘ready…one…two…three…smile.’

…and earlier this week presley graced our house for her first year pictures…

…and after fighting tooth and nail for a smile, we settled for a somber inquisitive look and…well, i love it.

…ended up in the back yard amidst soggy puddles for some summer fun in her new bathing suit.

finally, sweet newbie beckett (and his big brother william) stopped by…

…and was a pure gem for a very long photo shoot.

baby parts…make me happy.

so there you have it…a whole lotta babies.

and my baby?

remember this post?

well, she’s graduated to two leashes.

and she’s stubburnly determined to handle them both without any help.

and while it’s not always graceful to watch…

this little always wins in the end. she is quiet but forceful. she is respectful (for the most part) but demanding. and they humbly obey. our little dog (slash baby) whisperer.

dog/baby whisperer who says…FIFTY words now. like taco. and ladybug. and happy. and…i love you. finally…a little talker, and we are loving every word of it.

…and there you have it.

This little girl has the genetic “tongue out” during times of deep concentration–a throw back to her Great Uncle Dale. I cannot believe she can maneuver two leashes with two strong dogs–she is Animal Control! And those babies–oh, what beauty! Wonderful job capturing their very essence. Love to you tonight!

    you don’t know jack!
That, is a really really good one 🙂

There is something about your baby pictures that show something…I can’t explain it – it’s like depth, or glow or something…

    it’s really special.

Hello! I am Andrea’s best friend (in case you didn’t recognize my name). I love all of your photos! You are amazing at what you do.

I have to make a comment about your pictures of your darling daughter taking the dogs out. These are so cute, but it triggered something I remember seeing once. I had a friend who was walking a dog using one of those retractable leashes. With in a second her dog sprinted and the cord got wrapped around her leg, almost cutting it off. I know this is an icky image, but when I saw your daughter with those leashes, I couldn’t help but mention this. I would hate to see her get hurt.
    Be careful with those things!!!

    🙂 Joanna

Thank you, Joanna! I have thought of that a million times…more worried about it wrapping around her neck, to be honest! We keep a close eye on it…but yikes!

Holy strong arms Lainey! our neighbors have a dog smaller than latte on a leash like that, but hold on when she wants to go! A 7 lb dog can feel like 30 when she’s running! Work those arms girly!

and all the baby pictures! talk about cute overload! I can’t get enough of baby Presley, for pete’s sake the rolls just kill me!

and she talks!!! i cannot wait for her a Jonah to have a sweet little 2 yr old conversation when you come up in June. 🙂

there is definitely a benefit to small dogs, huh? i have yet to let stella (who’s 5) walk our skye-dog. a 95 chocolate lab. she doesn’t pull. but if she wanted to … eek.
you deserve every inch of success that you’ve obtained through your business. your pictures are delightful and true to life and vividly colorful. thanks for sharing!
