A Treat from Lisa Leonard

March 14, 2012 By Kelle

A quick little post to share a special discount with you.

I am a keepsake girl at heart. I like both giving and receiving gifts with meaning–things that tell stories, hold memories, evoke emotions. Which is why I adore Lisa Leonard Designs. All jewelry and gifts are handmade in Lisa’s San Luis Obispo workshop, and her shop offers a variety of handcrafted pewter and silver goods that make meaningful gifts. I’ve come to know Lisa through both her blog and her business, and I tell you, she is a delight.

From now until March 15, use code connect20 to receive 20% off anything in her store.

Might I suggest the sterling connected necklace, a whimsical personalized bubble wand (perfect for spring, and it really works!)…

…or my new favorite, the anything toppers. Okay, it’s really a cake topper, but I love having these pewter toothpicks on hand to sneak into a treat for Lainey, to turn simple cupcakes into something special or, for now, to add some love to my plant.

Happy Shopping. Happy Day.

I have a necklace from LL that my husband gave me for my first mothers day. Then I thought I lost it on a trip to New York. Then we found it again in Hawaii. Funny how life works!

I would totally love to have some of her non-jewelry stuff. Damn that agreement I made with my husband to have a 1 month spending moratorium! Maybe for mothers day? Hmmm….

Your blog just fell into my lap today and i just want to say that you are an amazing woman. I have read several entries in the last few hours(yes I have not set my smart phone down since I read the first.) I have a little one,3 years old, and found out last week that number 2(possibly #2 and 3) are on the way. I could never imagine the last couple of years for you and I will keep you and your gorgeous little girls in my prayers. I have never dealt with d.s. in my personal life but i know it can be very difficult. For God to have chosen you to be the mother of such a special child you must truely be deserving in his eyes. Stay strong mommy(and daddy too)

Lisa’s stuff is really awesome! we’ve gotten Christmas ornaments from her that are fabulous. my latest favorite baby girl gift? the bouquet charm with baby’s name on it, hung on a pretty blue velvet ribbon–for her “something blue” to carry on her wedding day. (we’re from the deep south, ya know!)

    thanks for posting!

I make similar cake and cupcake toppers out of PaperClay – but I love the idea of a pewter custom bubble wand for The Kid Who Has Everything!
Your post yesterday -and the first unseasonably warm and sunny day – inspired me to go antiquing. Yeah – that’s the thing to do on a gorgeous sunny day – lock yourself into a big barn for two hours! I found some lovely little pint-sized milk bottles and featured them in my blog. I loved the Starbuck’s bottles you re-purposed for Lainey’s Santa Claus party – but I have to tell you, I may have one-upped you *snort*. So get back to Michigan and do some antiquing in dairy country!

I love Lisa Leonard’s designs! I have Connected Hearts necklace you’re wearing (Valentine’s gift this year). I also have the jumble of charms necklace, which is incredibly cool because you can pick a charm for each child and have their name engraved. I literally get compliments everywhere, and am constantly directing people to her website. Love her.
