    Kelle! I have been a silent reader of your blog for quite a while. I came across your site among the first ones when my daughter was born 9 months ago and I was researching the topic on Down Syndrome. Reading your blog has given me so much hope! And I really wanted to ask you if you would consider to have more children in the future. It is a very private metter so of course I didn’t. Today when I had seen your post I was so thrilled. I actually ran to my husband office and shouted:” Kelle is pregnant!” I’m so excited for you! I would love to have another little one as well. Congratulations!!!!     I have been pregnant 5 times and have 4 babies on earth with me, so I know about being pregnant and about a month ago I opened your blog and looked at your face I think it was a beach post at sunset any way.     I’m the one who’s reading Bloom from Rome (the one in Italy…) and incredibly despair each time a traffic light becomes green on my way to office and I have to standby my kindle iphone app, that’s kind of no-sense in a city like Rome (I mean, despairing for a green traffic light).

    I’m also the one struggling daily to close the days without too much wounds and damages, having to manage 3 kids, all less than 120 cm high and less than 6 yers old, that’s again no-sense in the less children friendly city in the planet (I mean, going outside the statistical figure of 1,5 kids per family)!

    I’m not only happy for this news, but also waiting from now on to read Bloom2 (you are going to do it right? RIGHT?) and find out how you will upgrade your life, since you are definitively part of my applicable family model…

    Congratulations! I’m sure you rarely have time to read every. single. comment. on each blog post, but honestly this gives me hope! I can’t remember where I read it, but saw that you have been trying since Nella turned 1 and have experienced multiple miscarriages. I’m so sorry for your losses. I am just getting over my first miscarriage which unfortunately has dragged on for over two months (from when we found out the heart wasn’t beating until last Thursday when I had to have an emergency D&C because the pills on June 8th didn’t work…yes, 7 WEEKS later…). I hope I have the strength to keep trying, keep hoping, without fear of miscarrying again restricting me. I’m absolutely haunted by this experience but seeing that you’ve overcome it too and are now glowing with baby-goodness feels like a little hand squeeze saying, “Yes, this can happen to you, too.”

    Congratulations again and may you and your family be blessed with health, happiness, and much love and joy!

I live in Uruguy (so please excuse my english i am really out of practice i guess), a little country in South América (between Argentina and Brasil).     I don’t know how you can even keep up with the comments at this point, Kelle, but I wanted to be sure to add m congratulations to you, Brett, the girls and the boys. I am so happy for you all! I saw that you’re struggling with nausea … I had severe nausea and vomiting with all four of my pregnancies, and Zofran (which I see you’ve already tried) was the only thing that helped. And even then, it just took the edge off. I wish you all the luck in the world finding something that will bring you relief. Prayers coming your way!     I’m not much of a commenter here, but I do appreciate reading your blog regularly. Just wanted to say congrats on the bundle of life you are currently growing in your belly! I too and pregnant with my 3rd. Due Feb 15! This one was a complete surprise. I’m nearly 13 weeks and I’m still constantly exhausted and nauseous…never actually throw up but always feel like it’s coming. When I found out I was pregnant, it caught me completely by surprised, but it made the nausea and exhaustion understandable! It wasn’t until my first ultra sound at 7 weeks that I really truly was able to embrace it all. until then it was disbelief. But now it’s pure joy. Congrats again!!

    I haven’t been able to catch up with my favourite blogs for a few months, and I’ve often wondered how you and your family are doing and what amazing adventures you’re having. I also wondered a while back if I’d come along one day and read that you’re having another bubba – and guess what! The day I finally (at 3am) start catching up on blogs, and I read you’re pregnant! Yay! Congrats!! 😀

    i just came home from seven days in the adirondack mountains on vacation with my family. i brought a big stack of books, but bloom was the top of my pile. i bought it right before we left and couldn’t wait to sneak away moments from the kids and read it, bit by bit. we were blessed with gorgeous weather and so i didn’t have as much reading time as planned. and the whole stack of books ended up sitting there, except for bloom. i read it all – it’s in entirety. going back and re-reading pages, crying, and laughing all the way with you. so when i got back home, to internet access, i came over here to catch up with what’s been going on with you and your precious family.

    my heart is so full for you right now!! that little baby is so loved already and i am so thrilled for you!!

    Sorry…I am playing catch up due to a recent move. Congratulations!!! It is wonderful to watch you add to your beautiful family. Many blessings to your family that will soon be 7!

    I have been following your blog since we had our two year old daughter, Lexie, who happens to have special needs. We are expecting another child and this baby boy will also be special like his sister. Even though the doctors shrugged it off as happening again, something told me otherwise. However instead of it being a shock and huge let down we have embraced it quite well since our lives have been overly blessed with all of our other children. I completely agree with you on the fact that the worry is there for all of our children regardless of their needs. I want the same thing for all of them. Happiness, love and acceptance.

    Kelle! So excited for you and the family. I’ve been a longtime reader since Nella was born (I was pregnant with my first at the time). I’m also due in February 2013 with my second – so i’m looking forward to continued catch ups on your new cherub! Congratulations!
