we’re here…

December 13, 2009 By Kelle

so much to write about…and i will.

…but for now, i am enjoying my family. it’s been four years since they’ve all been down here. and probably that long since brett has been able to be with us when we are all here…every one of us…not a one missing.

and last night, on the beach, it was one of those moments. those few moments where the world is perfect and the stars are aligned and my heart is happy.

so, we made silhouettes.

…and this one makes my heart swell.

i have the coolest family…and i love them so much. how i can live so far away from them…well, i don’t know.

more from our sunny place soon. so much i want to say. …to come.

What a beautiful picture of you and your daughter. We have a blanket of fresh, white powder on the ground in Idaho this morning. Hard to believe there are people frolicking in the ocean in capri pants somewhere!! 🙂

oh I’ve waited for this post! Been listening to your dad get excited about coming down…what a FANTASTIC thing to do. You know sometimes we’re just too normal, and too busy, and too stuck in our day to day lives to just cut-and-run. Kudos to your family for just saying, “we’re doing it.” I love that.

oh my…these pictures are so fun and i’m wondering how carin lifted herself that far from the ground in that first or second one…the karate chop i have named it.

although, my heart is mush after seeing the lainey and bump silhouette…i would hang that picture on every wall of the house. it is sooo beautiful!

so happy you have your family here to enjoy. love seeing you so content!!!! can’t wait for more!

Awww…Kelle so happy for you!!! You bring so much joy to others and their families through your “magic lens” so happy you are able to enjoy your own family! Love my x-mas cards and love you!!! Can’t wait to meet that new baby next month!!! Dying to know the name…in the meantime enjoy Lainey, the boys (Esp. Brett) it will never be quite the same (but only in a good way) XOXO- Adrienne

    oh my beauty.
makes me want to run down to your neck of the woods and play in the ocean …
and that pregnant mama picture with lainey? i so want one of those with me and my girls before this baby pops itself out of it’s cocoon. except the idea of doing it in the midst of snow and cold makes me reconsider.

Funny thing about silhouette’s, aside from the way it’s spelled . . . . you get SO MUCH EMOTION from the “simple” outlines. The love is literally pouring out of each photo! Love, love, LOVE these! Any thoughts on teaching your photographical gift (editing too) to those of us wanting to create magic too? Happiest of Happy’s! 🙂
