I am trying to resuscitate Miss Daisy so I can buy a new plant this week. It’s not looking so good.
She is sad, and I think she needs a beer and some Christmas cheer. I’m going to play her Bing Crosby this weekend and wet her petals with some Coors Light. Betcha she’ll be smiling by Sunday.

You know what I like?
Catching Nella goin’ for a fry.
You know what else I like?
An appearance from the secret magic dimple.

Brett’s been in Orlando for the second half of this week, and the girls have been holding down the fort. Less time to post, less time to e-mail, more time for this kind of stuff:
Lainey’s friend’s family is joining us for Thanksgiving dinner. Consequently, Lainey is planning every detail of what she and Aleena will do. Where they will sit. What they will drink out of. What angle each chair will face. She wrote their names twelve times yesterday. Twelve times and eleven scribble-outs until she had what she liked. Some scissors, glue and buttons later…place tags for her table.
*****
Sister’s not quite confident yet to show off her walking skills sans push-toy.
But her crab walk is fierce.
So fierce, Lainey keeps it in check.
It’s clearly a confidence issue as her balance seems to be no problem at all. She surfs Lainey’s bed.
*****
The tub is the stage, bath time is the performance, and little lashes are the star. Just sayin’.
That is all.

It’s Friday, Friday, Friday!
Cue Phone Photo Dump:

Friday Phone Dump photos are taken on the Instagram iPhone app (free) and dropped into a 12×12 collage using a photo editing software (Photoshop Elements works). I am “etst” on Instagram if you want to follow the feed.

Congratulations to Nicole Brabender Samples who won the one year subscription to Mamalode for liking them on Facebook. And I just noticed Matt Logelin is in the next issue (and graces that gorgeous cover!)…it will, no doubt, be amazing.

My family recently experienced the death of my brother at age 29. My mother has started writing about life now as we move forward. She inspires me, and I want to share her.

Great idea for the earring club!
Those earrings are adorable. And I love the thought of a new pair of surprise earrings arriving at my door each and every month. An instant pick me up!
Love the secret dimple!
Those place markers Lainey made stole my heart!
Love the holiday cheer!!
Your girls are so sweet and I love Lainey’s place cards for Thanksgiving! Don’t worry, Nella will be walking all on her own soon and you won’t be able to keep up 🙂
Excellent post as always, your children are such little darlings!
hmmm I wonder if a beer and Christmas music will work on me. Just might have to try it this weekend.
those thanksgiving placecards are too adorable 🙂 what a sweet little hostess you have
Absolutely love that last picture of the three of you!
Love love love the last picture! What blessings you have!
That fry snatcher is pretty cute! Love the earrings too 🙂
Your blog always makes my day. To see your children smiling warms my heart! I can’t wait until the day that I will have these moments with my own children.
I’m amazed by how Nella seems to fall asleep anywhere. Is this just the type of kid she is? Or did Lainey do the same thing? My first only falls asleep in her crib or stroller. How is this possible? Is it a second child trait?
I would totally steal a those fries as well. Hot Fries as we call them here are the best.
Love love love L’s name tag for her and her little friend.
Oh I would love either of those prizes.
You girly-girls are just too cute!
Loving the crab walk. Great photo!! That Nella is one scrumptious baby girl!!
Nothing like catching the secret magic dimple!! Sweet place tags-she must be so proud of herself! You’re an awesome Mama Kelle!
Happy weekend to you!

Lainey’s creations are precious, I have no doubt she is beaming with pride. I so enjoy seeing when little ones write. Have a great weekend.
LOVE the crab walk. And Bing was singing to me on Pandora right as I read about Miss Daisy. 🙂
Lainey is so cute making those place cards! I feel the same way getting ready for my own thanksgiving 🙂
You tell Nella “you go girl” from happygirl. LOVE the fries, too. 🙂
Loving the lashes! And the surfing! Here’s to a great weekend.
I love everything about this post! And all your posts. I love how hard Lainey worked on the placecards and Nella’s sweet face! Happy Friday!
I need to see a video of that crab walk! Looks amazing! 🙂
Great pics, great post! Every day is full of little lovely things, isn’t it. 🙂 Have a great weekend!
Those last three pictures are amazing! Have a fabulous Thanksgiving!
great sisterly photo’s which im sure they will cherish when they are older. 😉
I absolutely love reading your blog and being inspired by you and your beautiful family!
And oh, how I envy that your little Nella seems to fall asleep wherever she pleases! My guy is too nosy to sleep. Ever!
#1. I heart Lainey’s placecards. She is such her mama’s daughter, so creative and fun!
#2. Nella on Lainey’s bed made my day.
#3. My dear husband is at work. Cue, me, breaking a rule of our marriage (and proclaiming it on the internet) and starting to put out a few little Christmas things, and put away a few other little things to make way for Christmas.
The picture of Nella asleep in her little chair is beyond sweet! Happy weekend to you and yours 🙂
Oohhh..I want earring for a month!!
I LOVE all your pictures, but that last one melts my mama heart!
have a GREAT weekend!
tara
Happy Friday- girl time is the best! Lainey has mad skills in the place card making department!
Lainey’s name cards are so precious! Your love of holidays is clearly rubbing off on her!
I think that last photo is saying “I’m your future new header!”
Your pictures are so gorgeous and I love how you always try to put a positive spin on things. Little Nella is so cute! Seeing pictures of her makes me miss my little girl (who is the same age) when I’m at work. Lainy is such a artsy craftsy little lady! I love her place cards and how much effort she obviously put into making them.
Looks like Lainey is becoming quite the little crafter!!
love Lainey’s hand writing, reminds me of my own little girl 🙂
I love the photos of your girls, I feel like I’ve hung out with y’all for a day after I’ve read one of your posts! And I signed up for the goody bag for myself … I decided it would be a good Christmas gift to me, from me. 🙂
Lainey and Nella are so adorable!
Your happy pictures made me smile.
http://www.momfashionworld.blogspot.com/
I needed this so much today. Thank you.
Great post and pictures! Lainey’s name tags are perfect and Nella’s fierce crab walk is awesome!
Those place cards are SO sweet, made me tear up. And earring of the month club? hello big check mark next to a name on the Christmas list
Your happy makes me happy!
We just got dumped with snow, so we’re taking our wee girl out in the sleigh this weekend and I’ll be thinking of you and your girls!
Hope the frosty fun thoughts make their way to you!
I adore Lainey working so hard on her place cards…they turned out beautiful!
Have a super weekend! I can’t believe that Thanksgiving is just around the corner. Loved Lainey’s place cards!
Girl time what fun!!
My daughter has a secret magic dimple, too! I’m willing to do anything for the chance to see it.
Love the pictures! Lainey is so thoughtful setting up everything for her friend!
I love reading your blog even more than usual at this time of year. Helps me see all of the things I have to be thankful for. So thank you for that!
I love the phone dump photo of Nella sleeping on the chair. I have so many pictures of my girls sleeping in random places or positions. Some of my favorite! Love your blog!
Love the earrings and Lainey’s place cards!
You look very posh and sophisticated in the earrings. Love them! Nothing makes you feel like a superstar while wiping up milk and changing diapers like looking fabulous while doing it. Love the pictures of the girls!
Laura
your posts just make me happy – love the pic of Nella just conked out in the chair…some serious playing must have preceeded that. The wet lashes are fantastic too!
Enjoy the final planning for your Thanksgiving celebrations. Don’t want to rub it in – but we’ve seen our first snow here…just north of Toronto!
She can walk on the bed but not the street – love it!
I love the simple joys of your life.
And I also wanted to say thank you. I saw that shell in shoes video you shared. I had a really crappy day that day and decided to watch it while waiting for a meeting. HOLY CRAP. THANK YOU for sharing that. It made me entire week. I was crying I was laughing so hard 🙂
Arya is a fry thief too….they are so adorable when caught in the act!
I LOVE that Lainey is so excited for her friend coming over. The planning that she’s putting into it is amazing. Can she make place cards for my holiday dinner, please? She did a great job!! I love her creativeness.
Happy, happy Friday!!! Hope you have a great weekend!!
This post included some of my all-time favorite snapshots of the girls. The simple day-to-day tasks just look so sweet. Sneaking fries, practicing writing names, bathtimes, snuggling and giggles. Your posts always make me look forward to being a mother one day 🙂
http://missbmrsm.blogspot.com/
Ooooh, a rare Nella semi-O face! They make me smile so.
Could that crab walk be any cuter? Precious! Would love some earrings!
Nella is getting so strong! Can’t wait to see her run! By the way, I’m going to make those cute trees with the buttons this weekend…I’m so excited!
I love your incredible, unique sponsers. I think it says a lot about you! Love the pic of Nella asleep in the chsir, so sweet!
love Nella’s bathtub pic, she is so precious! both of your girls are such a joy!
I love Nella standing on the bed, like she is doing some fancy trick she thinks! That should be a great confidence booster;) Enjoy your beautiful weekend!
Looks like you gals are having a great time holding down the fort!! I love that Lainey wants to make Thanksgiving perfect for having her friend over! Adorable!! The girl’s got the attention to detail early!! 🙂
Adorable photos!! Love Nella surfing!!
Try adding about 1/4 cup of Sprite or 7Up to your daisy 🙂 and continue to water as usual.
We have begun the adoption process. Check out our blog and say hi sometime. We’d be honored

I love the “READ” letters in L’s bedroom.

Aww, poor Miss Daisy. Aside from the droopy blooms, the plant itself looks healthy – she’ll come around! I had a tempermental daisy that loved sunlight, but the heat on my bay window was too much for it. It just needed occasional re-situation, sun in the morning and a cool spot in the afternoon, while it got acclimated to its new environment.
The only thing I have to say is you and your girls make me smile. 😀
I meant to tell you on the Christmas card post how much Lainey and Nella look alike when Lainey was younger. So cute! Also, I love earrings, so the club sounds like a dream. 🙂
My five year old is obsessed with making placecards so everyone knows where to sit too. I’m not sure where she gets it since I am more of a come as you are, sit where you please minded person.
Happy Weekend! Missed you around here this week 🙂
Happy Friday to you! Love the pictures and Lainey’s place cards!
Love Lainey’s placecards AND her dimple. And the crab walk brought a huge smile to my face. Have a lovely weekend lady and little ladies.
Wow — I’ll be the products are as terrific as the descriptions. What a great find.
Oh Darlybird is one of my favorite shops. I got the grab bag last year and it was so fun!
Denise
I was just talking to a co-worker yesterday about making place cards as a little girl. SO CUTE!
EVERYTHING about Lainey is magical! And of course, Nella too….I love her so much!
I think these are some of my favorite captions of yours! So simple, cute, and funny–yet hittin’ me straight in the heart!
Much love to you and yours,
Kelly
Love the placecards!
Happy Friday!! Love the earrings, and the last photo!
Super cute as usual!
I think your gerbera daisy just needs a little water. Mine did that all the time, worse when they were in a terra cotta pot. Happy gardening!
Caryl
Love the eye lash shots!
I love seeing your instagram pics and have enjoyed taking pics of my own sweet boys 🙂 I can’t wait to put them in a photobook for Christmas gifts this year!
You have such a precious, precious family! I love that you are such an involved mom who clearly makes time for your children – something rare in today’s society (unfortunately). I was raised by a stay-at-home mom and I am extremely grateful for her decision as I’m sure your girls will be some day. You dress your girls in the most adorable outfits. As a sibling of someone with Down’s Syndrome it is so heartwarming to see that your family has truly embraced Nella. The more I read your blog the more I fall in love with your family.
Great post on the small things! Sometimes keeping it simple ends up being more than enough. This is exactly what I needed today, thanks.
Bwahahaha….that crab walk IS something fierce. Too cute. As is she asleep on the arm of the chair. Sweetness…
Happy Friday! I absolutely have a brown thumb myself so good like with Miss Daisy!
It takes some mad balance to bed surf. Just sayin’. 🙂
Love that hidden dimple!
I love that last photo. LOVE it.
I really want one like it, except with my children. Ha, ha!
That will be one to treasure for years.
Also, I love that “READ” sign you made! I need to make that.
Have a good weekend!
Your girls are beautiful! Happy Friday, love the photo dump!
That crab walk is killing me! SO CUTE!!!
I love love the crab walk! Too cute!
The last picture is gorgeous!
Those are excellent placecards.
This weekend is going to be devoted to camera timers and self portraits with me and my girls. I think I have, oh, maybe 5 pictures with me in them since they were born…it’s time I took matters into my own hands! You have perfected the art, and have inspired me to do the same.
In other news, one of our radio stations is set to start playing all Christmas music, all the time starting this afternoon and I CANNOT WAIT!!! I have had Pandora set on it since Halloween (okay, the day before), but nothing compares to the radio playing it…makes me all warm and fuzzy. 🙂
happy weekend! I’m going to do some loving on my girls as well, fully enjoy who they are. Tone
Sweet Nella with the lace! Gorgeous! 🙂
I adore your Friday posts, and I love the Friday Phone dump! Hope you have a good weekend x
that sounds exciting!
Another beautiful post! Thank you for reminding me to slow down and enjoy the season.
Savoring Every Second
Congratulations at getting your Friday post done so early! Now Dot doesn’t have to share you with the blog this afternoon.
Wonderful weekend to you!
Jennifer

Have a wonderful weekend, dear Kelle! Hope Brett’s home by now 🙂
I love that last photo of the three you – it’s so happy!!!
love her sleeping in her chair!
such a great post
you take the best pics!
The crab walk is too cute!!
Great last picture of you three! What is it about bathtime? I love giving my sweet girl baths – we end with me blowing bubbles and it is simply magical…the smiles, the giggles, the splashing. And your sweet Nella and my sweet Ava need to hang – balance is not Ava’s issue either as she scales stacked boxes in a single bound, but her confidence just needs to catch up. We are close, oh so close, to independent walking. Oh happy day, happy Friday!
GO NELLA GO!!!! I love how Lainey gives her a hand with the walking. Your girls are so sweet.
Happy weekend to you!
All I can think about now are the white yarn and button Christmas trees on your mantle. And the cotton snowman. I wish I had white yarn and button Christmas trees on my mantle. If I had a mantle.
The crab walk is the cutest ever!!! It makes you want to do it no matter how old you are!
Your girls are just too precious!
HAHA! Lainey carrying Nella is the cutest thing ever. I so adore your posts!
Love those place cards! And LOVE the series of pictures dedicated to Nella’s walking…gosh, she is precious.
I bet Nella will surprise you when you least expect it and walk without her push toy. =) LOVE Lainey’s bow! So pretty!
that crab walk is hilarious!!!!!!!! 🙂
You make being a Mom look so much fun. I really think I need to work on that. Sometimes I feel so caught up in “getting caught up” that I forget to enjoy the kids and what is going on around me. Thanks for the simple reminder, that life is good and being a mom is the best!
The “crab walk” photo made my Friday!
haha my daughter likes to sneak a fry when her dad isn’t looking. And she even tries to dip it in the ketchup (like her dad) even though she has never even had ketchup!
adorable bow on lainey by the way!
Your Friday photo dumps are the main reason I want an iPhone – it makes me sad that instagram is not available for my phone.
And I gotta say, your girls bring a smile to my face 🙂
Love that beautiful fry grabbing crab walking child!!
Have a great weekend!! Jen

I LOVE the picture of Lainey looking at herself in the mirror! She looks as if she’s seeing herself for the first time- that amazed look! And Nella with the lace–Can she be any more precious? Happy weekend 🙂
My sister-in-law would go NUTS for the earring of the month club! Should I be selected, there’s one Christmas gift to check off the list =) Hope your family has a wonderful holiday
Your girls are absolutely beautiful.. on the inside and out!! It is so obvious how well they feel loved by you, which is part of the reason I love to read your blog so much. Lainey’s place cards are adorable (as is her dimple.. seriously?!) and I can imagine it feels good to have her pick up on all the hard work you put into holidays. You make it fun and important and that is awesome! And lastly, to make this the longest comment EVER, I had a dream we met… and you had a Southern gangster accent?!?! After I woke up and realized what I dreamed, I just laughed and laughed.
Have a good weekend!
I love the earrings! That picture of Lainey holding Nella is too cute 🙂
~Hannah

Kelle
For some reason I read your blog and think WOW she is so cool and extraordinary. Today however when reading I noticed in the picture of the girls eating, that you have the laugh and learn house, and realized while you are cool and extraordinary, you are also a family that is just like ours. Your just writing and inspiring so many others through it.
Your blog is beautiful with all of the colorful pictures of your beautiful girls. I love looking at the pictures. I just wish that my pictures were as amazing as yours.
Thank you for sharing your family with all of us.
You always give me the push I need to be supermom after a long hard week! Thanks for the pick me up!

The pictures of Lainey “moving” Nella around always make me smile. Thanks for sharing!
Nella’s such a character loving the fry shot, the crab walk and surfing on the bed! Lainey’s lashes are stunning, one day boys will weep over those lashes! Sorry you probably don’t want to think that far ahead! Looks like you’ve been enjoying your few days of girl time but bet you can’t wait for Brett to come back! Happy weekend Kelle
Nella found her calling! She must be destined to become a surfer! 🙂 I totally love that hidden dimple too! so cute!
Your girls are adorable.
I so need to become a member of the earring of the month club. My silver hoops are so last century.
love all the photos … my favorite one is the last … love all the girls together. so sweet. everyone smiling. laying the floor. sweet. your girls are growing up so fast. what cuties you all are. have a great weekend. (:
Ha ha, you know, the reason we don’t have pets is because I can’t even manage to keep my pot plants alive! I figure keeping my children fed, clothed and entertained is enough for the moment!
PS: I think Lainey is awesome and Nella is so beautiful! My daughter Rosie is just a week or two older than her and I love watching them grow ‘together.’
http://www.justordinaryus.blogspot.com
I have a fry thief too. 🙂
Okay, so I’m going to move past the more obvious comments I love to make (ie. “Lainey’s dimple is so cute!”, “Nella’s one adorable surfer chick”, etc) and say… I love your blue curvy lamp. I will now be on the lookout for one.
Oh thank you for your fun blog post. Wish I could say my Friday was going as well as yours but not so much as I have one kid with pink-eye and another who sustained a human bite from a kid at school. Thank God it’s the WEEKEND!
I hope you have a great weekend! 🙂
Love that last picture!
Love the post!
I love Lainey’s name tags. Gives me a great idea for name tags for Thanksgiving dinner here. Love your posts as always.
Lovely little lashes! Darling nameplates! Delightful moments your girls will cherish always! Maybe Nella can teach me to crabwalk…so flippin’ cute!
I always love reading your blog and all that you do with your girls and family. I can just picture Lainey being the big sister and watching over Nella. Nella is just too cute for words.

So Funny whenever I read your posts I need to remind myself you are in a sunny state. We live in Montana and right now it is dumping snow has been since 7am this morning and it is still going strong right now at 1pm. The roads are icy and the air has a bite to it but it is gorgeous outside and so peaceful.
Love your blog thanks for sharing.
Ahhh, lashes and dimples. Can’t get enough of my girls’ dimples. 🙂 So important to “enjoy the small things.”
Way to go Nella! She is so close!

Nella looks great walking behind that toy! And, I love those earrings!!
I can remember planning for friends and family visits as a kid. how cute.
So as I was reading this post our pandora radio station started to play the Jacksons ( Michael Jackson) song “shake your body ” right as I was looking at nella’s crab walk picture…. With that song in the back ground she totally looks to be an amazing break dancer !! So funny! You should play the song and look at that picture!
~Could Nella be any cuter?~ I just love this age…my little one just turned 21 months and its so fabulous to watch them bloom!
Friday Phone Dumps are great…I end up emailing photos to myself from my phone and have a blast reliving the moments as I browse back through on my desktop computer!
Every Friday morning we wake up with that stuck in our heads…it’s Friday, Friday….aaah.
You make holding down the fort look easier than it is at my house!

I love the picture of Lainey in the mirror and how you can also see you in another mirror taking her picture.
Love the stage of life i am in now, but can’t wait to find the same joy when i have kiddos someday.
Love that crab walk! My little man was crawling at 5 months, pulling to stand at 6 months and climbing the stairs at 7 months. I was sure he would walk early… But nope! Not even with a push toy, he is Not Interested! All in their own good time…
i love laity’s excitement for thanksgiving! so cute!
jealous of luscious lashes over here! why do boys and little kids have the best ones?
Loved your little Christmas trees so much, had to make my own. Thanks for the inspiration always. The picture of the three of you is adorable!
I love Lainey’s little place cards, so cute! I also love the idea of the earring of the month club, so original!
Super cute pillows on the bed. Darling girls! Love your posts.
It’s always hard to comment because there’s too many things I want to remember to mention. But I’m gonna try! I love Lainey’s dimple, her super hard work on the adorable name canvas easels, and the story of Nella’s crab walk.
Also, what kind of dog is Latte? Looks like might be part poodle (and non shedding?)
The picture of Nella doing the crab work is priceless! I love it!
i love lainey helping nella out with her walking!!!

I love Lainey’s place cards. So cute
Okay, do you know how much I look forward to your posts?!?! Nella is just moving right along and photos of her just make me smile 🙂 You & both of your girlies are just beautiful!
Your words kick some rear too 🙂
I see the amazing Fisher Price door toy in the background in one of your pictures – my father-in-law initially vetoed as a 1st birthday present for my baby boy because “It’s a door!”
But mother-in-law won, and he looooves it.
Also, since following you on Instagram i feel like I get a sneak peek of the Friday Phone Dump…makes me feel like a VIP.
A little bit of happy to start the weekend!
I can’t wait to see pics of Nella walking!! 🙂 You go girl!
love that she is almost walking! what a champ =)
Love it all, especially the last picture of all three of you giggling together :).
Happy Friday Kelle, Nella, and Lainey! :0)
LOVE that last picture! Keep smilin’!
Why is it that when I scroll down and arrive upon your photos of Nella smiling I always smile back? I see pictures of people smiling everyday and I never smile back at the photo (this is really true since I work for a company that makes teeth). But there is just something about her smile that shows she really means it. What a lucky momma you are to get to see it everyday! Thanks, as always, for sharing you memories with blog land 🙂
I love your creativity with the name cards! Adorable! 🙂
Shamelessly commenting just because I HOPE I win the giveaway from Dailybird :)))
Shamelessly commenting just because I HOPE I win the giveaway from Dailybird :)))
Always love looking at your pictures!
What a lovely family and blog! I just found your blog and love it already and I’m definitely following your posts from today on!
I wonder what would happen if you gave the plant beer : )
Kaish has to do a Science experiment this year. We should try that!
Can my 6 year old son and I come hang out with you and the kids one day? I love that every day is an adventure.
Kelle,
You’re amazing! I’ve been reading for 6 months now and every post since has made my day! Thank you for being you and sharing with the world.
always the perfect way to end a hectic week!
your blog makes me oh-so-excited to be a mommy someday 🙂
I’m getting excited about getting the house geared up for Christmas but I love fall too much to take down my pinecones and leaf garlands until Advent.
I’m trying out the chalkboard idea. I’ll let you know how it turns out.
the crab walk had me laughing out loud! Thanks for the holiday gift ideas, I see Earring of the Month club in the futures of my sisters!
I love every line of every post. But today I especially enjoyed your treatment plan of Bing Crosby and Coors Light for Miss Daisy. I might try that on myself this fine Friday night.
Love the crab walk!!
Wendy Ens
Just had the 6 month check up for my little girl with that extra something…they make and meet their own milestones…in their own time. Nella will run circles in your house in no time!
The photo dump photo of Nella passed out in the chair is too sweet!
love your friday phone dumps…i just got my iphone and you helped solidify my obsession with instagram!
Have a great weekend! Your girls are adorable.
I love Lainey’s socks – the stripey ridiculously long ones. I want socks like that! (I have a long slouchy pair that my dad bought me in Bolivia … I love them, but like the colour and tallness of Lainey’s a lot.)
Until your blog I never would have considered spending any amount of time in Florida. You’ve changed my mind. It seems a beautiful place.
One day soon, I think I’m going to have to give up traveling to visit family for Thanksgiving so that we can make it the holiday we want it to be instead of the exhausting circus it is.
Such cute pictures of such sweet girl-time, and I love Olie the Owl on Darlybird!
The crab walk is fantastic! Sometimes I just wonder how their little bodies move like that. Beautiful pictures as always.
Full disclosure, I’ve been a follower for a lonnng time and haven’t commented and (maybe) the reason I’m commenting now is because the idea of getting a new pair of earrings in the mail once a month completely delights me!
But I do love your blog and your girls (strange to say?) and all of their struggles and triumphs. I love your attitude towards parenting and life and your affinity for unicorns and rainbows. I am always inspired! Thank you for sharing your life with us!
As a new mom reading this blog helps me know bad days get better and all moments are worth cherishing! Thank you!
What is it about McDonald’s frys that make them so DELICIOUS! My Littles Love “Old MacDonald” too.
Happy Friday.
always look forward to your posts!
I love your Friday phone dumps! Good stuff.
Love the crab walk! : )
Nella looks so grown up!
For some reason, I can’t see your pictures when I read your blog at work.
Er, I mean, I don’t read blogs at work.
Anyway, I finally got my Enjoying the Small Things photo fix and I’m feeling much better. Love this post.
Little sister is so darn cute!!! Love her crab walk!!!
The crab walk pic made me giggle.
That is so cute that Lainey is really into having her friend over for Thanksgiving. I think it shows that you are doing your Holiday Matriarch job very well!
Hey those holiday movies are in rotation again at our house too. Love Burl Ives. His music is great for the kids.
Happy Friday!
Lisa
I am so glad that I am not the only one too busy with kids for computer time! Good luck with the flowers!
I love those place cards made by your girl they are lovely and make me smile! What a wonderful friend she is.
Momma to 3
*shay B*
I love the photo of Nella in the chair asleep. How precious. I liked how Nella’s basket is filled to the top. It is so cute how children think grocery carts are so great when I prefer to not ever have to push a grocery cart.
love the bed surfer. too cute.
Your pictures are so awesome and your kids are beautiful!!
A beer and some Christmas cheer! Love it!
Leah
A beer and some Christmas cheer! Love it!
Leah
I seriously cannot wait to see Nella’s walking in action. It’s so close! Love it!
Ok question for you . . .do you just buy random craft stuff assuming you will use it someday or do you do intentional trips for certain craft projects? I am just amazed at the seemingly spontaneous craft projects that happen at your house!
I like knowing that the reason you specified your collage tool is probably because I asked on instagram (whiteywifey) lol. As always, lovely thoughts and photos 🙂
Those girls just keep getting cuter every day! Seriously.
love lainey’s place cards! darling!
That’s my kinda Friday! Happy weekend, Hamptons!!
Really sweet pics, as always. This girl really needs some earrings (I think I own about 3 pair and 2 are studs!) so here’s hoping for that prize!

I love your life 🙂 I saved a copy of Nella on the bed (not the be creepy! It’s going in my decorating inspiration folder). Also: My hubs and I bought the Christmas classics pack a few years ago and were surprised by how creepy some of the movies were after all this time! lol!
I think Friday photo dumps are my favorite:)
What a great set of photos! Nella looks so proud of herself standing up/surfing like a big girl!! Love seeing those first glances when little ones realize how much they’re capable of doing. Have a great weekend and pick me for that earring of the month giveaway. what a great idea!! 🙂
It has been fun to watch Nella grow in confidence and strength, so fun to see her walking!
It’s as if every time you take a photo of Nella or Lainey, they get even cuter than the one before it. How is that possible?! Your girls are precious. Let us know how that beer therapy on the plant works out. 😉
I feel your pain about the dying plant! I had six plants in March and now I have none 🙁 Yet, my grandma has managed to make hers multiply in that time (so jealous)! Hopefully the music brings it back to life!
Love the crab walk and those earrings!
oh those lashes…so so so cute 🙂
Seriously, Nella and Lainey are so adorable! Nella is a girl after my own heart, McD’s french fries… So yummy!
Love those place tags. She is one crafty lady!
I had lace curtains like those in my childhood bedroom…seeing them gives me a warm fuzzy feeling 🙂
Earring of the month club would be amazing. Love the little name place holders. Thanks for sharing. Tccam71@comcast.net

Love the photo of Lainey in the mirror, and the b&w instagram shot of Nella in the cute hat! Hope your weekend is full of more fun adventures!
New earrings every month sounds really fun! Lainey’s eyelashes are amazing! Jealous!
I too know how it is to have a little one so close to walkin….when others her age have been doing it for months. Yay for Nella…doing it at her own pace.
Earring of the month?! That sounds awesome…Better than fruit, flowers, magazines…yep, pretty much everything.
I LOVE the last picture of you and Nella and Lainey. Those are the moments you will always cherish. The three of you laughing in love 🙂
Very cute photos. I love seeing your girls playing together. Precious!
I absolutely LOVE the name cards!!! I want to do crafting this weekend!!! Love it!!!
Yes please! I always seem to spend money on “more important things” and would love some jewelry. Heading over to the website now. 🙂
Earrings by the month – sign me up!! They look fabulous on you. Love Lainey’s placecards – she’s going to be just like her Mama, paying attention to details when entertaining.
Love Lainey’s leg-warmers!
Loved Lainey’s placecards. You have a hostess on your hands, Kelle!
Wishing you good luck with Daisy. My poor girl is dusted with snow. I fear she is a goner 🙁
Yay for cute little name cards! What a cute idea. Someday when I actually host a fancy dinner at my house I might steal it. For the time being, it is off to parents & grandparents for those special meals.
Oh – easy, breezy, yummy cake/cupcake idea for you: 1 box spice cake mix (follow directions to mix) + 1 can pumpkin = YUMMY!!!! Making it as a cake for a Thanksgiving dinner I’m headed to tonight and 24 muffins to take to church tomorrow. Yippee!
Love the crab walk pictue! So fun! Happy weekend!
I love Lainey’s placecards! How sweet that she wanted them just right!! 🙂
Tina J
That last pic is a keeper. So much joy!
Looking at your kids pigtails reminds me that I totally effed up on Margot’s hair last night. Damage will be surveyed upon awakening. I don’t think pigtails are in happening for a few months!
We too have been daddy less the last half of this week!
oh you say giveaway and LOOK at all of us commenting…you know I love ya Girl! xoxox beth
Aw, my favourite pictures? The fry reach, the crab walk and the fallen down socks with just a tiny bruise. Enjoy these moments. 🙂
Nella stealing the fry is so cute!!
Each picture is more precious than the last. What fun you all have! Love the Friday photo dumps. Enjoy the weekend!
The french fry & the dimple – such magic little moments!
Most excited by your littlest and the shopping cart – I work on walking with little beauties like yours and she is so close. Really, really close – the surfing picture says it all! Way to go Nella!
My littlest was playing in our curtains this morning like Nella. We snapped a few of the sweetest pictures! Also, like Nella – my Caroline isn’t confident to walk without a push toy or mommy and daddy’s hands. But their time is coming! Have a very happy Thanksgiving!
Lainey’s place cards are absolutely adorable – she did a fabulous job!
You are a seriously gorgeous family. L’s dimples…dying. N’s squint smile…dying. Love.
Your little girls are so precious!
LOVE Lainey’s purple dress in these photos! Your girls look older every post. Good luck with Miss Daisy 😉

Your girls a perfectly sweet.
How fun. When daddy is away the girls will play! It looks like you guys had agreat time.
Looks like you girls had a fun week! Love Nella’s crab walk!!! Would love to see it on video.
My little boy is kind of in the same walking boat — could totally do it if he wanted, but still prefers to surf. 🙂
You have the cutest girls! They are so sweet!!! I love Lainey’s bow!
I can’t decide who’s cuter—
Lainey with her dimple,
Nella crab walking, or
Puppers with her ears up!
luv, luv, LUV magic dimples and little lashes!!! the last pic is my favorite – i luv how much fun you have with your girls – you’re such an inspiration of motherhood at it’s greatest!!!
those lashes truly steal the show!
Scrolled through nearly 400 comments hoping somebody had the solution to your daisy, because I need the info too…only one, just one remark, that sadly, I don’t think will do the trick at this stage. The same thing happened to mine, it just wilted and then the leaves almost melted. It was a sudden thing, I don’t know what happened, but in disgust I set it outside, dead, and neglected it….well, it resurected itself. All I can offer is they must not like a lot of attention. Your daisy photo reminded me to go save mine from the frosty outside…now to see if the shock of bringing it indoors returns it to its state of death…is it going to protest my caring, again?
I think you should give yourself a pass on the Gerbera daisy, not your fault, move on and resume your plant buying.
Lainey is looking so “grown up” in these pictures & can Nella get any more cuter? Love seeing these adorable girls grow 🙂
My two favorite pictures in this post: Lainey looking into that lovely blue mirror and Nella playing peek-a-boo with the lace curtain. I love when kids do random cute things and a camera is handy!
Love! Cannot wait till sister takes off running 🙂 Enjoy the holidays <3
Awesome! I love the giveaway!
I love the photos – I follow you on IG (I am va_jj) and always smile at your posts and crafts…definitely stealing the placecard idea – my 6 yr old loves crafts!
Nella looking up at the camera mid crabwalk is just priceless! And Lainey’s dimple could steal the show. Your girls are beautiful and I so love checking your blog on a daily basis. I’m always hoping your Nella and my Nathan could meet up some day 😉

Ah Lashes, What a little wonder to be found on lovely little ladies.
http://pointyglasses.blogspot.com/2011/11/friday-fun_18.html
Just did a post with them as a main feature.
Would love to get a grab bag or earings. sounds like fun.
Love your style…writing, fashion, confidence and your love for your family…this is truly something inspiring!
My kids and I were flying solo this week as well. I have to draw from my secret source of energy – the knowledge that a hot chai tea awaits at naptime and a cold Blue Moon awaits after the kids are in bed. With three kids under the age of four, I need all the help I can get. 🙂 Love this post.
Reading your blog is always a pick-me-up. Thanks for sharing your life and those precious girls!
The name place cards are beautiful. Love your blog!
What a fun sponsor!
Nella is just so stinkin’ cute with her crinkled up laughing eyes 🙂
Have you heard of Posh Tots?
Happy Weekend Hampton Girls! 🙂 That story & photos of Lainey writing her and Aleena’s names for Thanksgiving Dinner is so precious! She loves her so much that she wants her place card to be perfect! How darling is that!!
The older Miss Lainey gets, the more I see YOU in every little bit of her, Kelle. She is just like her mama, in every wonderful way! 🙂
Miss Nella — I know you’ll get your walkin’ groove on when you’re good and ready! Until then, enjoy your bed surfing! 😉
XO, Katie & Family
Lashes are one of my favorite baby parts!
Our fry lover is just a month younger than Nella. If we didn’t live several states north of you, I think they would get along splendidly!
Maura

Love Lainey’s place tag! Happy weekend!
Nella just steals my heart with every picture.
Hooray for girls’ time! I’m always amazed at how well-dressed, fashionable, and pretty your girls are. Clearly you know how to introduce them to the world of girly-ness! This amazes me, since it is not my gift, even though I appreciate those who can pull it off. Hope the end of your girl-time was even more wonderful than the actual time itself. 🙂
okay, nella is so stinkin’ adorable i can’t even stand it!!!! are you kidding me with the french fry?! and oh, those leg warmers! must. have. should be your next giveaway 🙂
Is it wrong of me to think about wearing Lainey’s hair bow AND the gorgeous chandelier earrings at the same time, to a holiday party?
I think not!
Oh man. Those place cards are to die for cute! If only I had a little one to make some for my table…hmm. I’m thinking I could possibly write left handed & get the same effect! Enjoy them & save them. She’ll love looking back at them one day. My mom saved things like that, and they’re little treasures.
Bachelorette pad, love it. Hope I win. Thanks for doing the giveaway.
Look at Nella! She’s going to take off in no time!
I swear Nella can fall asleep ANYWHERE!! LOL! Cute pictures as always 🙂
No way, an earring subSCRIPTION?? How do people come up with such happiness?
Loving those eyelash and dimple photos! And those blank board books are on my stocking stuffer list. Thanks for reminding me to order!
The girls are getting more and more beautiful every day 🙂 Happy weekend!
Love the random posts and the beaming smiles. Love strong, steady little legs and think eyelashes on babies in bubbles. This post made me smile… thank you!

Would love a gift of earrings every month! What fun! That would certainly make me smile! 🙂
Kelle- Your blog always leaves me smiling 🙂
The pictures of the girls in the tub are priceless, so sweet.
Love those earrings! An earring of the month club sounds amazing!! It’s actually inspiring me to consider a earring swap for christmas instead of secret santa!
Adorable! The almost walking is great to see.
Your girls are absolutely precious! You have made me so anxious to become a mom!
I love Lainey’s place cards for Thanksgiving! I have been reading your blog for a while now, but this is my first time commenting. Thank you for your inspiring words that remind me to enjoy each moment I have with my precious little ones!

Love the crab walk … such a determined look on her face! And Lainey’ dimple just begs for a smooch!
I love the photo of you and Lainey; so spontaneous and so beautiful!

Nella grabbing a fry….priceless! Jonathon won’t even touch fries.
He once was a pretty good eater, but now he is back to where he hates everything except pasta and cereal!
I miss my happy eater.
I love Lainey’s magic dimple! And I love to see Nella surfing Lainey’s bed! So awesome! Hope you all had a great weekend!
I like cute earrings make any outfit awesome! That and they are the only things my twins can not seem to stain with mealtime! Lol
I secretly like it when daddy is out of town every once in awhile. Its like a vacation at home! We dont always follow the rules when he’s nto here 😉
In the spirit of Thanksgiving and all things fall fabulous, a favorite food blog made this pumpkin treat which you and your beautiful family might enjoy!

Favorite picture from this post:
Friday Phone Dump, second row, far right of Nella and her happy grin! Got me smiling too! Hope you guys have a great Thanksgiving! Can’t wait!
Wonderful photos this week! Love seeing Nella’s increased confidence for standing and walking. She’ll be running before you know it and Lainey will be saying “do I have to chase her again?!!”
The Earring of the Month Club is a very fun idea. I have done “Sock of the Month” and “Tea Towel of the Month” for friends – always well received and a great way of keeping in touch through the year!
Your blog makes me smile each time I read it. I keep it for the last blog I read. “Save the best for last =)” Love what you capture in your girls’ lives. love it!!
I love Lainey’s moccasins and leg warmers! Def. Fall like, to bad here in MN we have now moved on from Fall to Winter.. Fall wastoo short this year.
Ohhh that last shot just melts my heart!!
As always…LOVE reading your posts! Your girls are adorable!
I’m impressed with Lainey’s writing for as young as she is. Also, do you have more than two dogs?
Good luck with the Daisy!
I love three things about this post, and please forgive me that they have nothing to do with your awesome writing skills. 1.) the pic in the phone dump of Nella in that hat….2.) the pic of Lainey in your beautiful blue mirror…..3.)the pic of all three of you at the end. I heart your photography!
Love the bed surfing! Who needs to walk when you have a great big sister to carry you wherever you want to go 🙂
Oh my! I just LOVE Lainey’s place cards! What a precious, creative little idea!
I love the sneaky dimples! We have a few around here and I adore seeing them peek out.
I love the photos of Nella in the tub…she has such a beautiful smile!!
Earring of the month club joins a long list of things I wish I would’ve thought of! What a great gift idea.
You are the coolest photographer I “know”-cause really, I don’t know ya but I see so much joy in your family through your photography skills! It’s contagious! (The joy, not the skills unfortunately!)
You are a really really talented writer. Wish i had that knack.
Christmas lights going up already? We couldnt wait either!
Your babies and their smiles light up my day.
Oh, the pic of Nella’s crabwalk is pure gold 😀
I’m in love with your girls!
Lainey’s table place tags are about the sweetest things I have ever seen!
I hope you and your family have a wonderfully happy Thanksgiving!
I love the shot of the 3 of you at the end of this post. It always surprises me when I see a picture of Nella walking around – she is a gem. And the dimple on Lainey is kissable. One of my girls has a dimple like that. I just have to eat her up when it appears.
ooohh.. Those olive earrings are to die for! and who doesn’t love secret dimples 🙂
Love the fry-stealing and L in the mirror…just lovely!!!
Love the tub pictures! So cute!!
Congrats to the Mamalode winner, I cannot wait to receive my next one!
Darlybird really has some darling items! And some great deals too!
I love the magic of bath time. It is a wonderful, wonderful performance.
sometimes dasies die. it’s just the flower. It will sprout a new one. no fear! live on sweet plant. live on.
Lainey’s dimple is too sweet! She is going to be a handful in high school! watch out! My 2 year old son has a little dimple like that and I just swoon when I see it. Flashes of him as a teenager make my heart ache… time needs to slow down!
I love that she’s making Thankgsiving lists…I’m doing the same thing!
I love the picture of Nella sneaking a fry. I have two boys and my oldest is always searching for the m & m’s! We have an endless supply of them in the house.
Lainey’s dimple reminds me of my 3 year old daughter’s. It’s a rare sighting in photos, but when she cracks that gorgeous smile, it melts me to mush.
I love the picture of Nella asleep on the chair. The one of Lainey in the mirror is pretty cute, too!
I love the lashes pictures . . . I’ve got to remember to take my camera with us for bath time. I always seem to get in a rush and I’ve got to force myself to slow it down a bit!
Also love the fry picture – adorable!!!
I love that I can always come to your blog and after reading it, feel hopefully and cheered up. Thanks for this little fort of happiness you hold down on the web!

happy thanksgiving!
Oh my gosh. I just fell in love with your blog (not that I didn’t love it before, but I just started reading). Your girls are beauts!
ticitaczo.blogspot.com
your posts make me happy 🙂
Those little place cards are just precious!
I love the placecards for the kiddos from Lainey. What a great way to make her included in the planning! Enjoy.
Gosh. You are like the best mom ever. I don’t know you, I don’t know your family, but I love them. Thank you for documenting every little piece of your day and sharing it with the world. I always come here to cheer up. Well done Kelle. Well done.
“Sister’s not quite confident yet to show off her walking skills sans push-toy.”
Here is a suggestion – (cuz I know how moms just love getting advice when they don’t ask for it! Ha!)
When Lexi was almost 2 years old and at this same stage (only wanting to walk with push toy), our PT suggested to take away the push toy and replace it with a small and soft toy in each hand. This allowed her to walk “independently” yet gave her the confidence since she was holding on to something.
Okay, sounds crazy right? But, within days she was a walking girl!
Love,
Jill B (Overland Park, KS)
oh! I could use random presents throughout the year or all at once. Baby is coming very close to Christmas so it will be a sparse Christmas for the parents of said baby!
That crab walk is just too cute!
lOVE the photos! Now I’m craving some fries! My little guy has long lashes, I’m super jealous 🙂
Love your blog, your pics and your stories!!!
follow you now
-Signe
Haha… Love the photo of Lainey toting around Nella… so sweet.
This may be ridiculous, but when I saw that you guys ate McDonald’s, I laughed. I laughed and was happy because it was refreshing not thinking “She does it all, every day”.
xox.
